Dry Eye Evaluation
If we see signs of dry eye disease during your comprehensive eye exam — or if you’re already experiencing symptoms like burning, redness, tearing, or fluctuating vision — we’ll schedule a dedicated Dry Eye Evaluation.
During this visit, we assess the key factors that contribute to dry eye disease, including:
Tear breakup time (how quickly your tears evaporate)
Ocular surface staining to identify areas of dryness or irritation
Meibomian gland oil quality (the health of glands that keep your tears stable)
Blink pattern assessment (incomplete lid closure)
