Comprehensive Eye Exams at Greenwood Village Eye Studio

A comprehensive eye exam is more than a vision check — it’s a detailed evaluation of your eye health, visual system, and early signs of disease. At Greenwood Village Eye Studio, we take a preventative, technology-forward approach to protect your vision today and for years to come.
Our exams are designed to be thorough, comfortable, and personalized, with advanced imaging and wellness screening included for every patient.

A Preventive, Technology-Driven Approach

We use modern diagnostic tools to evaluate your eyes with precision and comfort. Our goal is to identify issues early — often before symptoms appear — and create a long-term plan tailored to your needs.

Comfort-Focused Testing

Our exam process uses modern, gentle instrumentation that allows us to assess your eye pressure, corneal health, and internal structures without relying on older, more uncomfortable methods. The experience is smooth, efficient, and designed with patient comfort in mind.

Dilation When Necessary

While many evaluations can be completed with advanced imaging, dilation remains an important tool. We recommend it when it provides clinically meaningful information — especially for new symptoms, high-risk findings, or when a more detailed view of the retina is needed.

Advanced Retinal & Wellness Screening

We believe every patient deserves a complete picture of their eye health. That’s why we include:

  • High-resolution images of the retina to document and monitor changes over time.

  • Cross-sectional imaging of the retina and optic nerve to detect early signs of:

    • Glaucoma

    • Macular degeneration

    • Diabetic eye disease

    • Retinal thinning or swelling

These tools allow us to identify subtle changes long before they affect your vision.

Who We See for Comprehensive Exams

We provide comprehensive eye exams for patients ages 10 and older.
For children under 10, we’re happy to refer families to a pediatrics-forward clinic that
specializes in early childhood visual development.
